Lujo

Spanish for luxury.

This is a project I’ve been working on — a branding illustration style I’m developing called Lujo, evolving my personal work with influence from Art Deco design and the striking silhouettes and high-contrast mood of animated series like Samurai Jack and Batman: The Animated Series. I use Illustrator’s gradient tool as my light source, letting it shape both color and form throughout each piece.
